Pokemon Leaker Teases Something Big Amid Pokemon Legends: Arceus DLC Rumors

A well known Pokémon leaker on Twitter teases something big following the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus on Nintendo Switch, and amid speculation and rumors that DLC is in the works for the Switch exclusive. Rumors and speculation are largely fueled by datamining leaks that indicate Game Freak has other plans for 2022’s biggest release yet, and it looks like fans might get a first look at those plans. relatively soon. If the game will receive as much downloadable content as Pokémon Sword and Shield, which has been completed with two meaty expansions, remains to be seen, but when you combine the early signs with the game’s success, the door is left wide open for Game Freak and co. to add a lot more to the title.

To this end, an eminent Pokémon leaker teases that “something [is] coming in April.” What it is, we do not know, but many Pokémon fans think it’s a DLC tease, although others have thrown out the rumor Detective Pikachu 2, Brilliant Diamond and Brilliant Pearl DLC and Gen-9 as possibilities. The oldest is a possibility, but it’s unclear how the image below would tease that. Meanwhile, the middle option is probably the most likely possibility following Pokemon Legends: Arceus DLCs. And then there are the screams of Gen-9, which, while hopeful, are definitely off the mark. Gen-9 is probably a 2023 game.

Below you can check out the tease for yourself:
