Following the conclusion of the “Pokemon GO” Fest 2024 live event in New York on July 7th, a series of Ultra Beasts will be making appearances during the “Pokemon GO” Fest 2024 global online event from July 8th to the 13th and 14th. Capture these powerful Pokémon in Raid Battles and increase your collection of commemorative background cards.
“Pokemon GO” July 2024 Raid Battle Overview
As the table indicates, starting at 10:00 on July 8th, the Ultra Beasts will appear in rotation daily, providing opportunities to collect “Ultimate Cave” style commemorative background cards.
Among the rewards, the “Pokemon GO” Fest 2024 global online event includes the Ultimate Cave back card Necrozma. You can also earn special back cards, Solgaleo or Lunala, by completing the special research mission exclusive to the ticket. Notably, these back cards will undergo special transformations when fused, changing to Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings.
It’s important to note that, with the exception of the 10:00-18:00 hours of Pokemon GO Fest 2024 Global Event Day 1, which might not have regional limitations, other time slots, including Paper Royal Sword, Iron Fire Kaguya, Leilei Stone Banging Clown, and Explosive Muscle Mosquito, Philomemes, and Electric Beam Woods, will still follow their original schedules. However, to accommodate capturing these Ultra Beasts, the daily limit for remote raid battles will be increased from July 8 to July 11 and July 12 to July 14. After the daily update removes the limit, trainers seeking to capture non-local Ultra Beasts can fully utilize this window of opportunity.
For this event, Niantic has also launched a special ticket for “Ultimate Beasts Invasion” priced at NT$150. The rewards include:
- Additional 5000 experience points for Raid Battles
- Ultra Beast Raid Battles: 2x Stardust
- Legendary (5-star) Raid Battles: 1 extra candy, 1 extra XL candy
- A maximum of 2 general Raid Battle tickets (orange tickets) per day. Trainers who also have Pokemon GO Fest 2024 global tickets can obtain a total of 10 general Raid Battle tickets (orange tickets) during the event on July 13 and 14.
- Exclusive limited-time research mission: Rewards include 10 Cosmog Candies, 5 XL Candies each for Xuwuide/Explosive Muscle Mosquito/Philome Mantis/Electric Beam Wood/Iron Fire Kaguya/Paper Edge Sword/Evil Eater King/Leilei Stone/Bangtou Joker, as well as 2024 Stardust and 1 Star Fragment.

The "Pokemon GO" Fest 2024 live event in New York may be over, but the fun continues with the global online event from July 8th to 14th. This event features a special invasion of Ultra Beasts, giving trainers a rare opportunity to capture these powerful Pokemon and earn commemorative back cards.
As you can see from the list, starting at 10:00 on July 8th, different Ultra Beasts will appear each day, with a chance for special "Ultimate Cave" commemorative back cards.
You’ll have the opportunity to obtain the Ultimate Cave back card for Necrozma by capturing it during the global online event. Additionally, exclusive event tickets grant access to a special research mission that rewards you with the Solgaleo or Lunala special back card. These back cards transform when Necrozma merges into its Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings forms.
While the Ultra Beasts listed for July 13th’s “Pokemon GO” Fest 2024 Global Event Day 1 may not have regional restrictions, other Ultra Beasts, including Paper Royal Sword, Iron Fire Kaguya, Leilei Stone, Banging Head Clown, Explosive Muscle Mosquito, Philome Mantis, Electric Beam Wood, may only be available in their designated regions. However, the daily limit for remote raids is increased to 20 for July 8th to 11th, and once more from July 12th to 14th. This removes the limit from the daily update, providing trainers with more chances to grab these rare Ultra Beasts.
Niantic has also released a special "Ultimate Beasts Invasion" ticket for NT$150. This ticket includes the following benefits:
