This weekend from August 26 to 27, 2023 takes place the final event of the Pokémon GO Fest worldwide! After the appointments in physics in London, New York and Osaka, now the whole world can enjoy this grandiose end with a multitude of creatures to capture. The best is obviously to buy a paid ticket to get the rarest Pokémon, but it is also possible to participate for free. The guide below tells you everything you need to know regarding it.

Anyway, if you participate, you might like to know which shiny you should not miss during the event! Some of them can be found in Raids but others will be in the wild and you will have to respect the schedules of the habitats.

The crowned Pikachu

And we obviously start with the pocket monster that everyone is aiming for in a chromatic version: a special Pikachu, a limited edition only available during GO Fest, with its tiara. Also called “Princess Pikachu”, you can find 4 different kinds:

Pikachu wearing a quartz crown : Habitat Quartz Terrarium (from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
Pikachu wearing a pyrite crown : Habitat Sables pyrite (from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.)
Pikachu wearing a malachite crown : Habitat Malachite Wilderness (from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
Pikachu wearing an aquamarine crown : Habitat Rivages aquamarine (from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

Note that Pikachu’s chromatic form is difficult to spot since only its yellow hue changes to become slightly darker. So pay close attention to the stars around the Pokémon when it appears or the icon next to its name.

Snorlax wearing a cowboy hat

Again, here is a Pokémon exclusive to GO Fest that you should not miss. To find this Snorlax, you will have to participate in 1-star Raids in your region or remotely. It will also be available in the wild during the Malachite Wilds Habitat (12-1 p.m. and 4-5 p.m.)

Mega Rayquaza

Here is the star of this event: Rayquaza in its mega-evolved form is finally available on Pokémon GO. In Mega-Raids, we hope you’ll be lucky to receive it in shiny because in black, it’s still much more badass than in green.

Scarhino

This shiny is very rare since, by default, Scarhino is a Regional Pokemon which is only found in South and Central America. Even better, this Pokémon has a different form between male and female! So you can have fun looking for both chromatic versions.

Habitat Quartz terrarium (from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.)

Sancoki East Sea and West Sea

Sancoki are extremely rare Pokémon to find, especially since if you don’t travel, you’ll only get one copy of both, in the northern hemisphere. Luckily, GO Fest allows you to get both:

Sancoki Mer Orient (blue, usually available in the northern hemisphere): Habitat Terrarium quartz (from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.) Sancoki Mer Occident (pink, usually available in the southern hemisphere): Habitat Aquamarine shores (from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

Moreover, this will be the first time, during GO Fest, that Sancoki will be available in shiny.

Gouroutan

For the first time, Gouroutan will be available in its chromatic version during GO Fest Mondial. This is the perfect opportunity to catch it in its pink form. Meet at the Malachite Wilderness habitat (12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

Mucuscule

Similarly, Mucuscule will also be available in its chromatic version for the first time during GO Fest Mondial. This is the perfect opportunity to catch its yellow form. Meet at the Aquamarine Shores Habitat (from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

The Unowns

This kind of event is always an opportunity to catch letters of the Unown alphabet that you don’t have. Even better, it’s regarding getting them in a chromatic version! Attention, this is only for people with the paying ticket.

The letters available: M, O, N, D, I, A, L

Scalpion

Although it is not a regional Pokémon, Scalpion remains very rare. Attention, this is only for people with the paid ticket.

Note that Pachirisu and Vortente will also be available for the Premium version but they do not yet exist in shiny.

Pokémon that have never had the right to events

If they are not exclusive to certain regions or that rare, these Pokémon should not however be set aside because they have never been entitled to their Community Day or to an increased spawn rate during events, and it is therefore more difficult to obtain them in shiny:

Excelangue, Écrémeuh, Nanméouie, Girafarig, Caratroc, Hippopotas, Lokhlass,
