Game news Pokémon Arceus Legends: New Pokémon in the Game, New Forms … Part of the Pokédex Revealed?
In the wake of the combat system leaks, Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the subject of a new exodus of information. Today, it is the Hisui forms of well-known Pokémon from the saga that have been revealed.
Spoilers
Be careful, the article deals with leaks that allegedly took place around Pokémon Legends: Arceus. If their authenticity is not confirmed, it is advisable not to read the following lines for those who want to reserve the pleasure of discovery when the game is released.
Regional forms, species apart
Introduced with the Aloha region of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, regional forms in Pokémon change the appearance of a Pokémon but also different aspects such as its types. For example, the Ponyta of Galar (region of Sword and Shield) is of type Psy, once morest the type Fire usual. A change justified by the ecosystem in which it lives, different from the regions we have seen until then. A system that is included in Pokémon Legends: Arceus since it takes place in the region of Hisui, former name of Sinnoh (Diamond / Pearl), at a time when Pokémon and humans have not yet cohabited. The environment is therefore also different there, and pocket monsters have therefore learned to develop differently as is the case of Hisui’s Voltorb (Plant / Elektrik once morest Elektrik) or Hisui’s Caninos (Fire / Rock, once morest Fire).
New Pokémon?
And a priori, the Pokémon presented in this form of Hisui will not be the only ones. After being at the origin of various leaks concerning the atypical gameplay system of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Centro Leaks does it once more by publishing the complete list of Pokémon in their Hisui form. And this with the new types that accompany them:
– Hisuian Decidueye: Grass / Fighting
– Hisuian Samurott: Water / Dark
– Hisuian Typhlosion: Fire / Ghost
– Hisuian Qwilfish + evolution: Dark / Poison
– Hisuian Sneasel + evolution: Poison / Fighting
– Ursaring evolution: Ground / Normal
– Hisuian Lilligant: Grass / Fighting— Centro LEAKS (@CentroLeaks) January 9, 2022
- Archeduc of Hisui: Plant / Combat
- Clamiral d’Hisui: Eau / Ténèbre
- Hisui Typhlosion: Fire / Specter
- Hisui’s Qwilfish (and its evolution): Darkness / Poison
- Hisui’s Farfuret (and its evolution): Poison / Combat
- Ursaring Evolution: Ground / Normal
- Hisui’s Fragilady: Plant / Fighting Only Pokémon # 905 has not yet been found.
So there are two interesting things to note here: starters, the Pokémon that make up the difficult choice that the Trainer must make at the start of each episode, each have a form of Hisui (Typhlosion, Clamiral and Archeduc). The second is that new Pokémon will therefore be well established in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Ursaring and Qwilfish have, to date, no changes identified in the previous episodes.
Obviously, this information should be taken with a grain of salt and a handful of salt. Either way, there are only 17 days left to confirm or deny them with the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus on Nintendo Switch on January 28.
