(PLO)- From this year, candidates only need to apply for admission by industry, no need to register for the admission method like in 2022.
On March 3, the Ministry of Education and Training held an enrollment conference in 2023.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Higher Education Department (Ministry of Education and Training) said that the enrollment in 2022 is basically kept stable as in recent years.
From 2023, the Ministry continues to simplify the registration Admission, reducing confusion for candidates. Accordingly, candidates only need to register for admission by industry, no need to register for the same selection method as in 2022. Candidates can apply for admission by any method to their registered industry if eligible.
According to Ms. Thuy, innovations in enrollment regulations and technology systems have brought positive results. Candidates benefit the most when they conveniently carry out the procedures on the online system, and at the same time are guaranteed the highest chance of being admitted to the industry or school according to their aspirations and abilities.

Training institutions (ETCs) are able to compete equally and transparently to select the most suitable candidates. The percentage of virtual candidates decreased sharply, and the number of training institutions recruited was closer to the announced target.
According to the enrollment results of the training institutions, the total number of students enrolled was 521,263, reaching 83.39%, higher than the number of admissions in 2021, 2020.
Out of 330 training institutions, there are 194 training institutions (58.67%) with an enrollment rate of over 80% of the target and accounting for 79.42% of the total enrollment of the whole country.
Regarding the method of admission, the percentage of candidates entering the school by the method of considering the results of the high school graduation exam and considering the academic records has the highest rate at 47.98% and 37.18%.
However, according to Ms. Thuy, currently some training institutions offer too many recruitment methods. In which many methods are not effective, the number of admitted candidates is very small compared to the target as well as in the total number of admitted candidates.
Some admission methods have low admission rate:
