Pogba affair: Italian media give details of pressure blow suffered by Paul in Turin

Tongues are loosened in the Pogba affair. While the mother was portrayed as “the gang leader” by the former president of Tours, Mathias Pogba responded to his brother following the accusations of extortion once morest him in a new video.

This Wednesday evening, the Italian newspaper La Repubblica gave a few more details on the altercation which allegedly took place at the Juventus training center. On July 14, the midfielder received a visit from two French people who absolutely wanted to talk to Paul Pogba. A third individual was also waiting in the car.

In the training center, a security guard is present. He informs the Habs that several people are present to see him. Paul Pogba refuses to meet them. According to La Repubblica, it is very likely that this visit “is linked to the acts of blackmail and aggravated extortion denounced by the French player and for which the Turin prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation.” Two days following this incident, Paul Pogba filed a complaint in Turin for extortion.

A few days ago, France Info announced that the player trained at Manchester United had wanted to return to the Boot in order to flee his blackmailers. It was then that he would have recognized his brother as one of the individuals who were trying to intimidate him.

This Wednesday, the Parisian announced that “the investigation opened for suspicion of extortion at the expense of Paul Pogba targets a group of five to ten people from the Paris region.” The media goes further and indicates that several people including one “member of the staff of the France team, were heard as witnesses.”
