While Wout Van Aert is a last minute package for this Tour of Flanders of which he was the favorite, two names stand out to take advantage of his absence: those of Mathieu van der Poel and Tadej Pogacar. But Christophe Laporte and Tiesj Benoot, spare leaders at Jumbo-Visma, Kasper Asgreen and Tom Pidcock will be their main competitors.
