International poets – from Argentina, Cuba, Italy and Colombia – along with local ones, recited on Wednesday at the Museum of Colonial Art in Mérida as part of the regional programming of the 18th World Poetry Festival.

Until next Saturday, meetings, discussions and readings will be held in that entity, within the framework of the meeting sponsored by the national government.

In Nueva Esparta this Thursday there will be a conversation in tribute to the poet Leonardo Ruiz at the Simón Bolívar theater in Juan Griego, starting at 10 am. In that entity, the festival closes tomorrow with two conversations that will take place at the House of Cultural Diversity of La Asunción.
