Lex-Walloon Minister Jean-Luc Crucke leaves the MR. He announced this Thursday that he is joining Les Engagés. He was at odds with the president of the Francophone Liberals, Georges-Louis Bouchez. Jean-Luc Crucke advocated a social and ecological liberal party: blue that pulled towards green. He ended up landing in the turquoise formation, where he will now sit as a Walloon and French Community deputy. At the same time, he became national vice-president of the Committed, in charge of energy and climate issues. Is this a surprise, a loss for the MR? A nice shot from the Committed?
