Apparently, the official launch of the new POCO X6 Neo is getting closer. This is because the device was approved by the Indian BIS earlier this week.

According to the regulatory agency, the intermediary has the number “2312FRAFDI” and can now be sold on the Indian market with native 5G connection.

In addition, it must also have Bluetooth 5.3 and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), the most relevant point being that the POCO X6 Neo may just be a renamed version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro.

For now, there is still no exact date for the presentation of the POCO X6 Neo, but its specifications might be those of an intermediate smartphone focused on cost-benefit.

An example of this is that the Redmi Note 13R Pro was announced with a 6.67-inch OLED screen that has FHD+ resolution and a rate of 120 Hz. In addition, its chipset is the MediaTek Dimensity 6080, there is 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.

The rear set of cameras has a 108 MP main sensor, there is a 5,000 mAh battery with a 33W charge and Android 13 with MIUI 14.

So far, we don’t know what changes POCO might make to the design and specifications, but that might end up changing within the next few days.
