POCO X5 and X5 Pro: leaked renders confirm design and colors

With a launch now confirmed to take place on February 6th, the new POCO X5 and X5 Pro had their official renderings leaked by Snoopy Tech. The material is being shared on Twitter this weekend and was sourced from an Indian retailer.

The point that most draws attention from the images is that both the POCO X5 and its Pro brother should be similar to the Redmi Note 12 5G and Note 12 Pro Speed Edition models, indicating that both are just rebranded phones for the Indian market.

Both must have a display that has few edges and a centralized hole to accommodate the selfie camera.

The panel is a 6.67-inch AMOLED that supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and has FHD+ resolution.

The back is made up of a camera module that is located in the upper left corner, but which in the X5 is accompanied by a black strip that occupies almost the entire top of the device. Check out the available colors of each model:

  • POCO X5 – pink and green
  • POCO X5 Pro – preto, cyan and amarelo

An interesting detail is that the yellow version of the X5 Pro has a power button in the same color as the device, and the camera module will also be black.

As for smartphone specifications, previous leaks have already confirmed that the POCO X5 should be announced with a Snapdragon 695 processor, while the Pro model has the Snapdragon 778G.

In addition, both should still have a 5,000 mAh battery, native Android 13 and 5G connection. However, what has been drawing the attention of many people is the possibility that the X5 Pro has IP68 certification, something that has not yet been officially confirmed by the manufacturer.
