Putting our duelists side by side we see that the Poco F5 Pro is slightly more compact, but is a little heavier than its rival. In both we have a flat screen that goes from one end to the other thanks to the thin edges. There is a small hole for a selfie camera that is located centrally at the top.
In terms of build quality, we can declare a tie, since both have a plastic body with a glass back with Gorilla Glass protection from the old generation. None have advanced certification for water protection, and the most we have is mild splash and dust resistance.
At the rear we have a frame that houses three cameras in both, with the difference that the design is more harmonious in the Poco by highlighting the premium aspect that the entire design seeks to deliver.

We can say that both have the same screen size with 6.7 inches. In resolution, it is the Poco that takes advantage of having a Quad HD panel against the rival’s Full HD. It is also superior in maximum brightness, which makes it the best option for those who use the cell phone outdoors, in addition to having less brightness fluctuations and causing less visual fatigue when used in the dark.

In software, we will have an initial advantage over the Poco F5 Pro because it is a more recent model and comes from the factory with Android 13. The one from Motorola came out with the previous version of the little robot, and like the Chinese rival, it will have two system updates.

Here’s the part where we’re in for a surprise to see Motorola’s win in our multitasking-focused speed test. This shows that cleaner software weighs less on overall performance.
In benchmarks we have the opposite with the Poco F5 Pro conquering bigger numbers. Of course, the difference is not big and in AnTuTu we only have a 10% advantage over the Chinese model. And in games? Everyone we tested ran smooth on both, even at maximum graphics quality with all extra features turned on. Poco heats up less when playing for a long time.

Poco has the larger battery of the two with 5,160 mAh against just 4,800 mAh of the rival. Can we already sing victory for Xiaomi? Well, at least in our standardized test with the use of several apps and games we had a very considerable difference with the autonomy of the F5 Pro yielding almost 10 hours more.
Some cell phones deliver a lot of battery, but in return take a long time to recharge. This is not the case with Poco, which remains the same as its rival by taking 50 minutes to have its battery completely full. In just 20 minutes you’ll already have half to use, which yields 15 hours on average.

We have three cameras in both with Poco standing out in resolution with the main 64 MP against the rival’s 50 MP. Which takes the best photos? We can say that in well-lit scenarios they compete well with the Motorola doing better in places with excessive backlighting and the Poco getting more right in contrast and HDR.
Night mode is more efficient on Xiaomi, while ultra-wide captures better photos on Edge 30 Pro due to the higher resolution sensor. In addition, Motorola has included autofocus in this camera, which allows you to use it to perform much sharper macros than the F5 Pro’s only 2 MP sensor is capable of.
Motorola brings a dedicated blur camera that helps to separate planes and generally results in a more convincing effect. Poco suffers even more from excess light when using the blur and leaves the photos with a blown background.

It was a good dispute between Xiaomi’s current top of the line, which arrives trying to deliver better value for money than advanced models from other brands and which have been on the market for a longer time.
