SYSTEM
In Diego Martín Cocca’s tactical unemployed, offensive midfielders have no significance. Both in Atlas and Tigres, the helmsman played with two contentions (Rocha and Zaldívar), (Carioca and Pizarro) and when he puts on a mixed medium he usually does it on the outside (Jairo Torres), (Luis Quiñones). In Atlas they brought Maroni, an attack midfielder and it mightn’t work.
Pocho Guzmán and Chofis López are offensive midfielders and perhaps that was the reason why they were not considered for the first call. El Pocho in Chivas plays in the middle on the left, a position in which Chávez, Gutiérrez and Ponchito were called.
SUPPORT
The directives of América, Rayados, Cruz Azul and Chivas gave the go-ahead for their players to concentrate on Sunday and Monday in the CAR. It was explained to them by Jaime Ordiales that it will be for the only occasion with the intention that Diego Cocca has a first contact with them to get to know each other.
The footballers will report on Sunday followingnoon and on Monday following training they will be free. In the case of those from Tigres and Pachuca, they will not report, since they are active in the Concachampions, the same as Atlas and León, who do not contribute selected teams.
COMPLICATED
The trip to Suriname is working out for the National Team Directorate. First, they mightn’t find a plane to take them on a charter flight and those that did exist were at least 2 stopovers and a maximum of 50 passengers. They were finally able to get one that will fly them from AIFA one day before the game and will wait for them to return as soon as the match ends.
The possibility of two or three Europeans being able to fly from the Netherlands to Suriname on a direct flight is considered, so that they do not make a stopover in Mexico. The complication of the trip was what forced Diego Cocca not to take all those summoned, since Suriname also has a time zone three hours ahead in relation to the time of central Mexico.
