PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) has again recorded a brilliant achievement by winning two prestigious awards at the 2024 Merdeka Awards.
PNM was named the winner in the Innovative Program for the Nation and Technology-Based Collaboration Program categories, in recognition of PNM’s real contribution in supporting economic development and community empowerment through technological innovation and collaboration.
In the Innovative Programs for the Nation category, PNM shows its commitment in creating programs that focus on empowering the community’s economy, especially ultra-micro business actors through the PNM Mekaar (Fostering a Prosperous Family Economy) program and micro business actors through the ULaMM (Micro Capital Service Unit) program.
The Kampung Madani program is also considered to be a complement to PNM’s comprehensive service ecosystem.
Sasono Hantarto, EVP Human Capital PNM, explained that the company is committed to being a financial inclusion solution for the unbankable underprivileged group, helping them start, reopen, or grow their businesses.

“ULaMM and Mekaar customers not only receive financial capital assistance, but also intellectual and social. PNM is a bridge of access to financing for mothers to develop their businesses,” explained Sasono.
PNM helps millions of underprivileged women throughout Indonesia to access business capital, training, and business mentoring, to improve family welfare.

Meanwhile, the Technology-Based Collaboration Program award was given to PNM for its success in utilizing digital technology in an innovative and collaborative manner.
Through its digital platform, PNM has optimized access to inclusive financial services for customers, even in hard-to-reach areas.
The PNM Digi application provides easy access to financing for customers, equipped with features that support business operations such as financial recording and bookkeeping, shopping features at more affordable prices at Warung Mekaar, and payment gateway.

Apart from that, the MekDi (Mekaar Digital) application helps customers apply and disburse financing digitally.
