Agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) led away a minor of 17 who is indicated as responsible for the death of Dennisse Esperanza Sulecio Marcia, 25 years old; who was found decapitated and without a heart in a home in Ribera del Río, zone 13 of San Miguel Petapa.
Sources related to the investigation indicate that the teenager could have ties to the Mara Salvatrucha gang, but it will be the MP who determines or rules out that.
The incident of violence occurred on Sunday, June 30, at 14th Avenue 2-93, Ribera del Río, San Miguel Petapa, inside a rented room, where authorities found a 7-month-old baby alive.
According to the PNC, the young man accused of the crime against the woman was taking refuge in a relative’s house because residents were trying to lynch him, so more agents were coordinated to evacuate him and send him to the 24-hour Court of First Instance for Adolescents in Conflict with the Criminal Law.
It was reported that an anonymous tip provided the address where the alleged perpetrator of the murder that occurred on Sunday is located.
Sources related to the case reported that raids were being carried out as part of the investigation into the femicide, when the agents were alerted by an anonymous complaint about the location of the alleged perpetrator, but he is a minor and requires a special procedure to be referred; in addition, neighbors in the area threaten to lynch him.
The National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) reported: “A decapitated corpse was admitted. The cause of death is stab wounds.”

The woman was naked from the torso up. She was decapitated. Witnesses to the incident claim that the woman and her alleged daughter lived in a rented room.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the proceedings for the case and detailed that the Municipal Prosecutor’s Office of Villa Canales is carrying out a search, inspection, registration and seizure of evidence in a property located in the Ribera del Río neighborhood, zone 13 of the municipality of San Miguel Petapa.
“The investigation is being carried out in response to an ongoing investigation into a criminal act that occurred in the area on June 29, resulting in the death of Dennisse Esperanza Sulecio Marcia. At the moment, the driving of a 17-year-old teenager is reported, who would be the alleged perpetrator of the murder.”
“The investigative proceedings carried out indicate that he would be the alleged perpetrator, however, the search warrant also aims to obtain evidence,” the Prosecutor’s Office said.
After the minor was taken away, PNC riot police guarded the home of the minor’s grandmother to prevent neighbors from entering and attacking the property.
