PNC agents extorted individuals and took them to ATMs

Three agents from Civil national police (PNC) were apprehended pointed out extort individuals.
The owner of the Ministry of the Interior, Francisco Jimenezreported that, through citizen complaintswas located at “bad cops”.
According to Jiménez, the agents they extorted to people and they took to ATMs to force them to withdraw money.
Jiménez explained that “citizens denounced bad cops what extort and take their victims to ATMs to get more bite.”
According to the information provided by Minister Jiménez, these are the agents Yesi, 23 years old; Kevin; 23; and Edy, 33.
The agents served in the Police Station 14, according to the information provided by Jimenez.
Agent “Edy” had 9 years of service; while the other two agents took the least 2 years in the institution.
The head of the Interior added that the population can report abuses by agents to the telephone number 1531of the General Inspectorate.
