With his right arm raised, Gabriele Gelormini lets his joy explode as he crosses the pole on the Paris-Vincennes racecourse. The Italian driver led Cokstile (n ° 2) to success in the Prix de Bourgogne (Gr. II), the fifth qualifying round for the Prix d’Amérique which offered a ticket to the top three for the event on January 30th. “I am delighted, I did not understand why we were not given in the press. We had a perfect race scenario ”, he confided, at the microphone of Equidia.
Quickly to the outposts, and behind the back of the favorite, Vivid Wise As (n ° 7), who led the race from the start of the 2,100m course, with a start to the autostart, Gabriele Gelormini shifted the winner of the 2020 Elitloppet to the straight line to win.
