PMU – Arrival of the quinté of Friday March 4 in Cagnes-sur-Mer: Easy Maza breaks the gap

Arrival of the fifth : 5 – 3 – 6 – 11 – 10

The first quinté disputed at night of the year was set at the racecourse of Cagnes-sur-Mer (Alpes-Maritimes). Reserved for trotters aged 8 to 11 inclusive, it has returned to Easy Maza (n°5) following a journey of 2,150 m. Quickly well placed thanks to his number on the front line behind the autostart, the resident of Romain Derieux easily took the measure of his opponents halfway through the finish line before detaching in the final phase.

This 8-year-old male erases a series of thirty-nine unsuccessful races since his last victory dates back to January 24, 2019. He is ahead of Ellington Dream (n°3), who finished in a pleasant action which allowed him to advance near the goal, Eclair Gold (n°6), constant appearing. For one of his last races in France, Partner in crime (n°11) causes surprise and completes the arrival of the quartet by slightly ahead of Escondido (n°10), whose end of race did not go unnoticed. Disappointment with the favourite, Equiano (n°2), who was beaten at the last bend.

Halim Bouakkaz proposed the trifecta out of order.
