PM’s meeting with UN chief, briefing on Kashmir – Pakistan

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif met United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres at the United Nations headquarters in New York and briefed him on occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that India’s actions in Occupied Kashmir are worrying. For the right of Kashmiris to self-determination, it is necessary to comply with the resolutions of the Security Council.

The Prime Minister urged the Secretary General of the United Nations to use his influence to comply with the resolutions of the Security Council of the international organization related to Occupied Kashmir.

Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that there is an urgent need to stop the genocide of Palestinians by Israel and to ensure an immediate ceasefire. In this regard, the international community should play its role and hold Israel accountable.
