By the early morning of June 24, PMC fighters entered the center of Rostov-on-Don and cordoned off a number of administrative buildings, including the headquarters of the Southern Military District. They stayed in the city for almost the whole day, while part of the Wagnerites, as stated, headed towards Moscow, to “deal” with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.
