The daily soap opera whose filming began in Allauch this Wednesday October 25 will change its name for its return to TF1 in 2024, following 18 years on France 3.

The return of Plus belle la vie to the screen is taking shape. In addition to the new sets – filming began this Wednesday October 25 in Allauch – the cult Marseille series will change its name. After 18 years of broadcast on France 3, and its cessation in 2022, Plus belle la vie will be reborn on TF1 in 2024 under the name Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, indicates The Parisian.

“It is not a question of making a season 19, but rather season 1 of a series which will now be called Plus belle la vie, even plus belle,” assures Stéphanie Brémond, deputy general director in charge of serials and long series at Newen France, to our colleagues.

A season full of new products

“There will be a lot of new things,” slips Stéphanie Brémond, while future intrigues are still secret. Fans of the Marseille soap opera will still find their favorite characters like Luna Torres, played by Anne Decis, or Thomas Marci, played by Laurent Kérusoré, protagonist present since the first season broadcast in 2004.

The new season will, however, have to combine with the disappearance of Marwan Berreni – who played the character of Abdel Fedala – whose body was found on October 12 in Beaujolais.
