Plot to kill Sikh leader, American newspaper reveals identity of another RAW officer – World

The American newspaper “Washington Post” has revealed the identity of another Rai officer who planned an attack on the American soil on the anti-Indian Sikh leader Graptunat Singh Pannu.

The Washington Post In its report, the mastermind behind the attack on Gurptunat Singh is Vikar Yadav, a former officer of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) who had hired a hit team.

According to the report, Vikram Yadav sent details regarding Gurpatwant Singh’s pins, including his New York address.

In November 2022, a Financial Times report stated that the US had foiled a plot to assassinate Pannu.

Nikhil Gupta was arrested by the authorities of the Czech Republic on June 30 at the request of the United States. An appeals court in the Czech Republic has ordered the extradition of Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta to the United States.

Nikhil Gupta was arrested by Czech Republic authorities in June last year when he flew to Prague from India.

The chargesheet referred to an unidentified person, “CC1”, who allegedly directed the plot to kill Pannu from India. The man recruited Nikhil Gupta in May 2023 to plan Pannu’s murder.

Now the Washington Post report claims that it was “CC1” Vikram Yadav.
