The German-Israeli playwright Sivan Ben Yishai has been awarded the Berlin Theater Prize. She received the EUR 20,000 award on Saturday during the Theatertreffen in Berlin. Ben Yishai penned, for example, “Stage Insult” or “Like Lovers Do (Memoirs of Medusa)”. Ben Yishai is the winner of the honor established in 1988, succeeding Sandra Hüller and Sophie Rois, among others. (APA, May 21, 2023)
