PlayStation suffers a major leak that could give you more than one headache: an early version of Horizon: Forbidden West appears online – Horizon: Forbidden West

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been seeing leaks related to older games such as the first performance of Duke Nukem Forever o a 1995 Prey prototype. This has given us a chance to take a look at discarded ideas and details that never came to light, but now PlayStation is experiencing this situation with one of his most recent games: Horizon: Forbidden Westwhich appears on the net through an early version with debug enabled of the graphics engine.

We won’t post the link to download said file, but a Reddit user points out that this might correspond to the version of Horizon: Forbidden West that was sent to testers during the pandemic. Therefore, we are talking regarding an important leak that might give PlayStation and Guerrilla a lot of headaches, since the debug mode makes users you can experiment with the game at levels that were not intended by those responsible for the project.

And it is that we must emphasize that this opens the possibility that users who have access to said files can develop an unofficial port to PC before PlayStation does the same with the finalized version. At the moment, the Japanese company has not ruled on this leak, so we will be attentive to its publications to find out what its next steps will be.

Horizon’s universe expands
