If you’re a PS Plus Premium subscriber and don’t have access to any or all of the games listed, feel free to contact the writer of this article to share your experience.

Three formulas to satisfy them all

After several months of waiting, PlayStation gamers can finally get their hands on a ton of games thanks to Sony’s new PlayStation Plus offerings. The giant now offers three hitherto unpublished formulas. Furthermore, Sony has decided to strike a blow by surprisingly adding a large number of titles available as soon as this new PlayStation Plus is released. If you’re having trouble deciding which formula is right for you, we also invite you to consult our dedicated guide right here.

The offer at the highest price, the PlayStation Plus “Premium”, notably offers access to many retro games, initially released on PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3. If this offer is already well provided as is, some may deplore the absence of certain classics, especially from the PS3, which should normally be present. So games like the first two inFamous, Lost Planet, les versions HD de God of War I et II, Devil May Cry 4 or even most of the opuses Ratchet & Clank released on PS3 are absent from the offer in France, while they are available abroad.

The major absences from the Premium offer

About the new PlayStation Plus:

What is PlayStation Plus?

The PlayStation Plus is the subscription formula of the PS4 and PS5. Through different offers, you can enjoy hundreds of PlayStation titles, a list of retro games ranging from PS1 to PS3, and even streaming playback, depending on your subscription level.

What are the 3 PS Plus offers?

The PlayStation Plus consists of three levels: Essential (€8.99 / month), Extra (€13.99 / month) and Premium (€16.99 / month). The first offers the same advantages as the old PS Plus (online play, save in the cloud, games included each month, exclusive reductions via PlayStation Store). The second also benefits from a catalog of around 400 PS4 titles | PS5. And the third adds on top of retro software (PSP, PS1, PS2, PSP), the reading of a selection of games remotely thanks to streaming and – this is important – demos to test a handful of blockbusters.

Who can benefit from free games from PlayStation Plus?

Depending on your subscription, you will not have access to the same games. With the PlayStation Plus Essential, you are entitled to the PS Plus Collection (only on PS5) and to the titles offered each month. With the Extra, you have access to a PS4 catalog | PS5 of around 400 apps. And with Premium, you get nearly 340 retro games, streaming PS3 titles and demos.
