Once once more, it’s a few days following offering the PlayStation Plus Essential games of the month, that Sony unveils the “free” games that will land on July 18 in the Extra and Premium formulas… We don’t want to spoil you, but it’s heavy!
Summary
It Takes Two (PS4/PS5 – Extra and Premium)The Ascent (PS4/PS5 – Extra and Premium)World War Z (PS4/PS5 – Extra and Premium)The other entries in the Extra and Premium catalogClassics are on the agenda ( PS4/PS5 – Premium)
We start with the best of the lot! On July 18, players subscribing to the Extra or Premium formulas of PlayStation Plus will be able to discover “free” one of the best cooperative games of all time… We are obviously referring to It Takes Two! In this adventure directed by Josef Fares, two players will have to stick together to strengthen the bonds between May and Cody! Unfortunately, the stain will not be the most obvious since our two heroes have at the same time lost their human size: they will therefore have to face a whole host of dangers like giant bees. You understood, it’s now or never to make this hit that won the title of GOTY 2021.
Exclusive to Xbox Series X|S and PC initially, The Ascent has recently made its debut on Sony consoles. For the occasion, PlayStation invites us to discover this cooperative shoot’em up which propels us into a world as dangerous as it is magnificent. It’s simple, in this top view game, the environments inspired by the cyberpunk genre are simply sumptuous, dizzying even. By playing with the different planes, the title constantly manages to offer verticality, which is quite simply a feat for the genre. The whole thing is further sublimated by a thundering gameplay and a difficulty that gives you a hard time.
If you love co-op, World War Z is for you. Just like the Left 4 Dead saga or, more recently, the Back 4 Blood game, World War Z offers you to evolve with several of your friends to face hordes of the living dead. Particularly generous in content, this game reveals several playable campaigns and at the same time offers to follow the journey of many different characters (who, of course, each have their own specialty). Just like The Ascent or It Takes Two, World War Z will integrate PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium from July 18.
Sniper Elite 5 (PS4, PS5)SnowRunner (PS4, PS5)Undertale (PS4, PS5)Bob l’Eponge : Bataille pour Bikini Bottom (PS4, PS5)Melty Blood : Type Lumina (PS4, PS5)DYSMANTLE (PS4, PS5)Circus Electrique (PS4, PS5)Dynasty Warriors 9 (PS4, PS5)Samurai Warriors 5 (PS4, PS5)My Little Pony : A Maretime Bay Adventure (PS4, PS5)Fast & Furious : Spy Racers L’ascension de SH1FT3R (PS4, PS5)Monster Jam Steel Titans (PS4, PS5)
Classics are there (PS4/PS5 – Premium)
As usual, the PlayStation Plus program also offers a few additional titles to all subscribers to the Premium formula. This time, players are entitled to three additional games, starting with Gravity Crash Portable! To accompany the announcement of the Twisted Metal series, also note that the first two opuses of the eponymous saga released on the first PlayStation are also there!
