In the wake of game announcements regarding new PlayStation Plus offerings, one piece of information may have gone unnoticed by some, but it is far from trivial. Yes, the Ubisoft + service will join the PlayStation family and PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to enjoy a slew of games from the French publisher’s catalog.
Hop, a little backtracking is needed. Currently available on PC, Stadia and Amazon Luna, the Ubisoft + service allows users, for a subscription of 14.99 euros per month, to enjoy a large catalog of Ubisoft games. Like PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, players can have fun with a hundred works like the last Assassin’s Creed, Anno 1800 or Riders Republic. It is therefore this whole service which is preparing to join PlayStation Plus, even if, for the time being, no date has been given. In short, even more games to discover for subscribers! But that’s not all…
GREAT UBISOFT CLASSICS IN THE PACKAGE
Yes, the “Classics” offer of the Ubisoft + subscription, which brings together certain great classics from the French publisher, will be incorporated, at no additional cost, into the Extra and Premium subscriptions of PlayStation Plus. In other words, any Extra or Premium subscriber to Sony’s new service will be able to access “free” 27 games selected by Ubisoft. And by the end of 2022, that number will climb to 50 games!
So, if you subscribe to the Extra or Premium offers of PlayStation Plus, here is what you can play:
