After announcing that almost the entire Yakuza saga was going to land on PlayStation Plus in August, Sony’s subscription service is back in the spotlight today to unveil the entire summer catalog. So, are there any little surprises on the program?

The Extra and Premium formulas of PlayStation Plus have been constantly offering content since last June. Moreover, today, Sony unveils the games that will be available to all subscribers from August 16th. Of course, we will have the right, as expected, to three Yakuza titles, but also to a few additional surprises.

Three Yakuza for the price of one (PS4/PS5)

We start with what we all expected: the Yakuza. It is therefore in less than a week that players will be able to dive into the Japanese underworld with the arrival of three hits from the saga of Ryū ga Gotoku Studio. We are obviously referring to Yakuza Kiwami first and second name (the remakes of the first two opuses), but also Yakuza Zero : The Place of Oath. The goal for Sony here is to introduce newcomers to the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu before arrival on the service from Yakuza 3 Remastered and its sequels Yakuza 4 Remastered and Yakuza 5 Remastered, and the conclusion Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. Indeed, the four aforementioned titles will be available in Sony’s catalog later this year.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is also in the game (PS4/PS5)

We continue the program with Ghost Recon Wildlands, a title that has come to breathe new life into the Ghost Recon franchise by offering players the opportunity to team up with three other players or even with the AI to evolve in an absolutely gigantic open world. We are talking here about a playground of more than 500 km2 that can be crossed by car, boat or plane. In this production signed Ubisoft, the mission of our favorite Ghosts is to dismantle a drug trade that is raging throughout Bolivia.

La petite surprise Bugsnax (PS4/PS5)

We continue with the little surprise Bugsnax. An original title released at the time of the launch of the PlayStation 5. This game produced by the creators of Octodad: Dadliest Catch, throws the player on the island of Zenka, a place like no other inhabited by living snacks ; Yes, you read that right. Your hero, to investigate this mystery, will then have to hunt these strange snacks to analyze them and learn more about them. But the most interesting thing is that the creation allows you to mingle with the other shipwrecked characters on this island. “Grumpies” all crazier than each other.
