- Playstation Plus Extra: PS4 and PS5 games to download
- Playstation Plus Deluxe: like Extra but with additional PS1, PS2, PSP games and a small fry
- Playstation Plus Premium: like Deluxe but with the addition of streaming PS3 games and a large Coke
The subscription is generous in PS4 and PS5 games but it’s a bit of a desert on the PS1/PS2 games side. We are happy to see Intelligent Qube but it still lacks a lot of classics first party like Wipeouts. Incidentally, remasters like Bioshock or Borderlands are only included in Deluxe and Premium subscriptions, even though they are PS4 games…
Like EA Play in Game Pass, Extra and Premium subscriptions (but not Deluxe?) will have access to Ubisoft+ Classics which will include 27 Ubi games for launch and 50 at the end of 2022. Overall, the whole thing seems to be aimed at new gamers because if you’ve been in the Sony ecosystem for a while, you’ve probably already finished most of the games in question. The strength of Game Pass is the ability to play the games first party as soon as they come out what seems to be missing here.
