For those of us who cover gaming news, it’s always interesting going into the new year, as many companies have a habit of releasing news that reveals aspects of the future that they may have inadvertently revealed. Ubisoft did just that with Star Wars Desperados earlier this week, and now it’s Sony’s turn to announce something that Konami has been rather vague about.
Because PlayStation has already made one A website dedicated to some of the most anticipated games coming in 2024, the list includes Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater and Silent Hill 2 Remastered. Konami has only mentioned release windows for both games. There’s even a disclaimer at the bottom, making it clear that this list isn’t about games for “2024 and beyond” or anything like that:
“All featured titles are scheduled for release in 2024.
The latter isn’t particularly surprising, as Bloober Team developers have continually reiterated that many of them have moved on to another project, and that they hope to show off more content soon. MGS3 shouldn’t be a shock either, as we’ve been hearing rumors about it for years, but it’s still nice to get semi-confirmation. Now we’ll just have to wait and see if this is true, and how long we have to wait between Silent Hill 2 Remastered and Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.
