News event PlayStation: A new official State of Play! The date and time revealed
We have been talking regarding holding a State of Play for several weeks, detailing what awaits us soon on PS4 and PS5. However, and while the rumors mentioned a broadcast at the beginning of March, other rumors, linked to geopolitical news, announced a possible postponement of the event.
The next official State of Play and it’s coming very soon!
Sony Interactive Entertainment has decided to put an end to speculation by formalizing the holding of a new State of Play ! Dedicated to upcoming games on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the latter has already been dated and it will not be necessary to wait long to find out what it will contain. Indeed, the manufacturer announces today that the next State of Play will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, that is to say tomorrow! As usual, the appointment is made at 11 p.m. on PlayStation’s Youtube and Twitch channels.

The presentation should therefore last regarding twenty minutesand will highlight “upcoming titles from some of your favorite Japanese publishers”. The focus will therefore be on these publishers, but Sony specifies that other announcements will come from developers around the world. However, if you were hoping for more information on the PlayStation VR 2, which presented its appearance a short time ago, you will have to go back: no announcement concerning the headset or the games that will run on it will be made.
