Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) is rolling out to PlayStation 5 this week. “On HDMI 2.1 and VRR compatible monitors and TVs, this option dynamically syncs the display refresh rate to the video output of the PS5 console”, says Sony.
When launching the option, 15 games will be compatiblewhich should reduce or eliminate visual artifacts, such as frame rate issues or screen tearing.
