PlayStation 4 consoles received a new “stabilizing” patch

Sony has released a new firmware version for consoles family PlayStation 4. The system software update received a serial number 9.51 and weighs 491.8 MB. The patch is already available for download.

According to the feature description, the latest update did not bring new functionality and is mainly aimed at improving the stability of the system.

“This system software update will improve the performance of the console.”

A similar update recently also received the PlayStation 5.

PS4 launched in November 2013. As of December 31, 2021, the console has sold 116.9 million units worldwide.
