ACTRESS Caitlin Halderman took advantage of the opportunity to explore film genres when she got the chance to play a role in horror films.

The actor in the horror film entitled Ivanna (2022) is lined up to play a role in the horror film produced by Rapi Films, Approaching Death, which will be shown in cinemas starting April 30 2024.

“I really wanted to explore the genre, the story was good, that’s why I took this film. Especially with Rapi Films too, just explore the genre,” said Caitlin at a press conference for the film Approaching Death in Jakarta, Friday (26/4).

“Playing an exciting horror film, I’m not afraid of bad makeup, my hair is messy, I don’t care regarding anything. It’s different in a beauty drama film, my hair has to be neat, what can I do to be afraid of it being messy,” he said.

In the film Approaching Death, Caitlin plays Ratna, the daughter of a woman named Sekar, played by Shareefa Daanish.

The 23-year-old actress faced the challenge of maintaining emotions and performing intense scenes with other cast members while filming the film.

“When one of us is down or different from the other, it’s really visible. So, we are really stable and there are quite a lot of takes. Early in the morning it also makes the emotional level, chemistry, that’s tough there,” he said.
