The 16-page ‘ICC Back to Cricket Guidelines’ were released by the world cricket body on Friday, confirming that bowlers will not be able to use saliva to polish the ball.

According to the ICC documents, players will maintain a distance from each other on the field, which will not allow any celebrations that involve body contact, and players will use their equipment separately, including water bottles. They will not give anything to each other.

Bowlers shall not give any of their belongings such as sweaters, sunglasses, jumpers, caps etc. to the umpires in the field, each player shall be responsible for keeping his own belongings.

Bowlers have also been instructed to avoid touching their face after handling the ball and to use hand sanitizers frequently, umpires will wear gloves and touch the ball.

The guidelines also prescribe a minimum distance of one and a half meters between players during training.

The ICC says the guidelines have been drawn up in the light of the directives of its Medical Advisory Board, which has recommended that a Chief Medical Officer be appointed with each team to ensure a healthy environment for the players. will be responsible.

In another point, it is recommended that the teams will be tested for the corona virus before the international matches and the players will spend at least 14 days in quarantine.

The ICC guidelines have advised teams to travel on chartered flights for international series and also advised to have separate rooms for the players and for the team to stay on the same floor.
