Croatian superstar Luka Modric has played with many great players in club football. Now he has picked the best player he has seen in his career. Modric said that Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is the best in world football.
Modric said that the biggest characteristic he saw in Ronaldo was his sincerity in his work and that he likes to score more and that is what impressed him the most. Modric told these things to former England star and current football pundit Rio Ferdinand.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player I have ever played once morest. His greatest characteristic is his sincerity towards work. He will always want to score more. And will never be happy in doing. That’s a lot of fun. “I’ve also been surprised by his compelling intelligence in terms of scoring,” Modric said.
This is not the first time Modric has spoken highly of Rono. Modric also said earlier that Cristiano is the best player in the history of Real Madrid.
Modric has previously said that everyone agrees that Rono is a great player and that he has achieved the most during his time at Real Madrid. Modric added that Rono is a great leader on and off the pitch and it was a great pleasure to share the pitch with him.
Modric and Ronaldo spent much of the season together at Real Madrid. Later in 2018, Ronaldo joined Juventus.
Modric is currently playing for Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who moved to Saudi Arabian club Al Nasser earlier this year, has been putting curtains on his European chapters.
