Dave Herzog, a 49-year-old Canadian citizen, has been under fire for the past year after he picked up his son Jordan Herzog from school last year, so he could play video games all day and earn money.

In response to this criticism, Dave says that he wants his son to make online gaming (eSports) his career and livelihood. Dave himself is a video game fanatic and has a variety of video games. He says that he had decided from the beginning that his son would grow up to be an expert video game player.

Jordan was just three years old when they put a game controller in his hands and Jordan’s talent for playing video games soon began to show. Jordan is currently 16 years old and has won thousands of dollars in prizes in several local and international video game competitions.
