Play Sid Meier’s Railroads! is released for iPhones and iPads

Attention, model railroaders! The game recently arrived on the App Store Sid Meier’s Railroads! — developed by Feral Interactive and available for iPhones and iPads.

On pre-order a few weeks ago, the game was originally released in 2006 for Windows PCs as a kind of spiritual successor to the classic Railroad Tycoon 3from 2003. Six years later, the title also won a version for the then Mac OS X (today, macOS).

Sid Meier’s Railroads! lets the player create entire railroad networks in various regions, mainly Europe and the United States. You can even compete once morest famous names in the transport sector like Cornelius Vanderbilt e J.P. Morganand help Santa to deliver all the presents during Christmas day.

In this captivating blend of model train and rail management simulator, build tracks and optimize routes to establish profitable networks of cities and industries, transporting passengers, raw materials and goods across continents.

In all, the game has 16 scenarios, each with its own map and objectives. It is possible to choose from the giant trains of the 19th century to the most modern machines of the 21st century.

There is also a mode called “Train Table”in which the player can freely build their highways without any objective or time limit — perhaps the most therapeutic mode of all.

You must have an iPhone 6s/6s Plus or newer, or a 7th generation iPod touch to play this. Among tablets, you must have at least a 5th generation iPad mini, 3rd generation iPad Air or 5th generation iPad to enjoy the game, as well as any iPad Pro model.

The game costs R$50 on the App Store and needs iOS/iPadOS 15.5 or higher to run. Good gaming! ???? ????
