VROUM, the program dedicated to vintage cars, is back on the France 3 Normandie channel on Sunday September 17 at 12:55 p.m.
Presented by Laurent Quembre, this one-of-a-kind magazine gives pride of place to meetings with lovers of old mechanics and their stories.
Putting an old car, motorcycle or moped back on the road brings back memories of youth, revives past desires and dreams, extends family stories. It’s also a great way to meet others and share emotions.
It is also, of course, rediscovering the pleasure of driving authentic vehicles, which provide sensations that are no longer found in modern vehicles with multiple assistance. Old cars are alive, and they have the flavor of their time.
For this new season, Laurent Quembre and his accomplice Michel Jérôme have criss-crossed the five Normandy departments. They met enthusiasts of all ages. They take you with them, on the small roads, to discover the Norman territory and heritage, and enjoy the landscapes at the leisurely pace of an “old” ride.

On the weekend of September 2 and 3, vintage vehicles will stay on the lawn of the Caen racecourse. Organized by the association Rétro festival, this event will bring together for a 14ᵉ edition enthusiasts of old vehicles and collection, cars and motorcycles. Many activities will be organized over these two days.

On this occasion, you can come and meet us on the stand of France 3 Normandie with the presence of Laurent Quembre and Luc Le Gleuher, both present in the Vroum program.

On Saturday, you can come and admire the aesthetic and mechanical prowess of certain owners by attending the state competition. Collectors will have the opportunity to showcase their vehicles during two parades organized at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the streets of Caen.
Sunday will be marked by the opening of the mythical Circuit de la Prairie on which vehicles will drive throughout the day from 9:30 am. Enthusiasts will also be able to try their luck and proudly present their exceptional vehicle by participating in the Concours d’Elegance.
About sixty cars will be able to participate in the tourist rally which will start from the racecourse at 9 am. The route will allow crews to discover or rediscover the Normandy countryside by following the planned route.
