Ms. Kerameos he spoke, among other things, about the protection of workers’ rights and cited as a typical example the digital work card, which was implemented for the first time two years ago, starting with banks, supermarkets and security companies, and from this summer the mandatory application it expanded to industry and retail trade, which numbers around 600,000 workers.
Also, according to her, next September, the pilot application of the digital work card will also begin in the tourism and catering sectors.

As stated in a statement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, regarding the operation of the Disability Certification Centers, the competent minister stated that two very important changes have been made, on the one hand, by expanding the list of irreversible diseases, so that there is no need to re-examine those patients who suffer of them and on the other hand with the recruitment of 780 additional doctors who will staff the health committees of KEPA.
