Skywatchers will have a rare opportunity during the month of June, starting Friday, June 3rd, to witness a “planetary parade” with the naked eye in the sky.

Before dawn this month, it will be possible to see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, in the following order, from the southeast, according to Sky & Telescope magazine.

The magazine advised to “look for a place that offers a clear low view to the east to increase the chances of seeing Mercury,” which will be very close to the horizon.

The planets shine in one procession on this shape in a phenomenon known as eclipses. It is noteworthy that the last time we saw these five planets in this alignment was in 2004.

The best day to see this phenomenon will be on the 24th of June.
