A group of scientists they found a exoplanet, which would constitute a great discovery, since, apparently, it has characteristics very similar to Earth. With the latter, it was concluded that there are great possibilities that there is life on this planet.

This is the exoplanet they named Ross 508b was discovered by the Subaru Strategic Program. On the other hand, this achievement is due to the use of a Japanese-built IRD infrared spectrograph at the Subaru Telescope (IRD-SSP). In fact, this research technique is new, since the IDR infrared spectrograph had not been used before.
According to scientists, Ross 508b is characterized by having approximately four times the mass of Earth, that is, it is much larger. Also, this exoplanet is in a habitable zone of the Universe; and has the ability to retain water.
Also, this exoplanet has its orbit around a red dwarf star. The above allows Ross 508b to have conditions to be habitable, such as temperature and water.
With this discovery and due to the characteristics of this exoplanet, scientists have mentioned that there is great interest in it and that research will continue.
