The Affluent Justice Get together (PKS) considers that forming a coalition with the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) within the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election (Pilgub) is just not taboo. This political collaboration was carried out when Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was appointed Mayor of Solo.
“You verify who nominated Solo Mayor throughout Pak Jokowi’s period, PKS was one in all them together with PDIP. So it is not a taboo, it is not an issue,” stated Chairman of the PKS DPR Fraction, Jazuli Juwaini, on the Parliament Complicated, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, 11 June 2024.
Jazuli stated that PKS had by no means been hostile to PDIP. Nonetheless, he admitted that there have been variations in platforms.
