PKS Collaboration Important so that the Next Leader Does Not Start from Zero

The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) officially closed the 2024 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) which was the last Rakernas in the 2020-2025 management period. This Rakernas prepared an end-of-period accountability report and recommendations for future governance, including future work programs.

Acting President of PKS Ahmad Heryawan said the theme of the national working meeting was collaboration in building the country. According to him, PKS is ready to collaborate with all elements of the nation, to achieve an advanced, just, and prosperous Indonesia.

“As part of the nation’s children who are united, patented for prosperity, we cannot possibly take care of this alone. Even though we are the winners, at the right time we must still collaborate with other parties,” he said in his Closing Political Speech for the 2024 PKS National Working Meeting, Sunday (22/9/2024).

Aher, as he is familiarly called, reminded PKS to present thoughts, faces, movements, collaborative actions that are ready to collaborate with all the children of the nation in this country.

“This is very important so that the next leader does not start from zero, but starts from what we have achieved together, while also preparing for the next leader, because the situation is different from the previous situation,” he said.

He added that Indonesia this time is filled with political parties.

“In this country, there is a one-week regional election. That is the country that holds the most democratic celebrations. Therefore, this has an impact on our indset which should bring about changes in this country in a comprehensive manner, but instead we are often absorbed in politics, as if we only work in politics. In fact, it is only part of our job,” said Aher. (Try/P-3)
