Amnesty calls on the Austrian government to take action once morest human rights violations in Iran
Vienna (OTS) – One year following the death of Jina Mahsa Amini, which triggered the nationwide “Women, Life, Freedom” protests in Iran, Amnesty International presents Austria together with Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann / DMB. the “I ran from Iran” campaign.
Supported by prominent voices from the Iranian diaspora in Austria, the campaign draws attention to the serious human rights situation in Iran. Against this background, Amnesty International calls on the Austrian government to take action once morest human rights violations in Iran.
The press conference provides an overview of the current developments of the protest movement in Iran, as well as previous failures of the Austrian government and calls for consistent steps to protect human rights in Iran.
