PJ expelled Eudoro González and rejected Henrique Capriles’ resignation

The Primero Justicia party, PJ, expelled the leader Eudoro González from its ranks and stated that it does not accept the resignation of Henry Capriles to the National Board of Directors.

Capriles published his decision to leave the PJ board through social media and expressed, among other things, the existence of irreconcilable differences between a large part of the members and an internal group of this very board.

Eudoro González would have been the person who was at the meeting held at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, in which González Urrutia signed a declaration in which he said he abided by the decision of the TSJ that ratified the result of the presidential election of July 28 and would be the voice that the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, showed (albeit with distorted sound) in a recording giving testimony about the meeting.

Through social media, PJ reported “the self-exclusion from the party, provided for in our statutes, of Eudoro González for having acted unilaterally in the forced exile of Edmundo González Urrutia.”

The party’s publication says the organization’s commitment, focus and energy is centered on defending the results of July 28.

The exclusion of Eudoro González was approved at a meeting of the National Board.
