To present, protect et preserve the great history of video games, this is the mission that the director of the Pixel Museum, Jerome Hatton. The latter, however, only encountered the tenth art as an adult. Today he remembers the Pongthe first arcade video game, as well as Super Mario Bros. 3, the first game he owned. The Pixel Museum exhibition takes the form of a chronological routewith the 1940s as a starting point until today with the PS5through the appearance of first consoles in the 70s.
The museum took up residence in 2021 on the former Brussels industrial site of Tour & Taxis. He is open to the public this summer, throughout the month of July and August, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
