Pishin: Two children were killed in a bomb blast near the police station

District of Balochistan Pusheen According to the administration, two children were killed in a bomb blast on Saturday morning, while 14 people were injured.

In a statement issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Pashin district, it was stated that the explosion took place at Sarkhab Chowk around 11 am.

Those injured in the blast were shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Pashin, where two children were brought dead.

The city’s Senior Superintendent of Police Manzoor Bilidi told Reuters that seven policemen were among those injured in a remote-controlled motorcycle bomb blast near the police headquarters in Pishin.

Another police officer, Mujibur Rahman, said that the explosives were planted in a motorcycle parked in the area.

He further said that when the explosion occurred, two children who were passing by died.

According to the information provided by the Medical Superintendent of Teaching Hospital Pishin, two children among the victims of the explosion died, while 14 injured were referred to hospitals in Quetta for further medical assistance.

Condemnation

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the blast that took place near police lines and DC office in Pishin and has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives of young children.

In a statement issued from the Prime Minister House in Islamabad, it was said that the Prime Minister has issued instructions to the relevant authorities to identify those responsible for the incident and punish them.

The statement said that ‘cowardly terrorists who attack young children do not deserve to be called human beings.’

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that ‘the war against them will be continued until the end of the monster of terrorism from the country.’

On the other hand, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Minister of Interior Mohsen Naqvi Condemned the bomb blast near police lines in Pishin and expressed grief over the deaths of children.

He said that the war will continue until the militants and their facilitators are eliminated.

‘This is a battle for Pakistan’s survival and to give a peaceful and secure Pakistan to new generations.’
