Pioneering Wellbeing Program, HASAVI, Earns Ferrovial ‘Top Wellbeing Company’ Certification

Ferrovial has been awarded the certificate Top Wellbeing Company, thanks to its health and wellness program for its employees, HASAVI. Benjamín Juárez, Director of Safety, Health and Well-being, received the award at the Human Digital Health (HDH) Summit on June 15, a benchmark conference on corporate health and well-being, which in its second edition in Spain was held at the CaixaForum in Madrid.

The certification recognizes the work of 30 companies exemplary in their welfare policies. The practices of all of them are collected in the Human Digital Health study, which reports on the most effective programs to promote the confidence and well-being of people in their workspace, and their impact on corporate strategy.

The program HASVIwhich has won the award for Ferrovial, began its journey in 2016 and became the global health and well-being project for the entire company in 2022. HASAVI is focused on the physical, mental, social and financial health of professionals in the company and its objective is to facilitate the acquisition of healthy lifestyle habits from a comprehensive perspective of health and welfare of your employees.

The implementation of this project in the organization is having a great impact thanks to several factors. Among them, a Welfare Committee has been createdwhere all the company’s business units are represented, a governance system has been established, and a HASAVI Ambassadors Network has been created, which has more than 100 employees who promote good practices in all the geographies where Ferrovial operates.

Immersed in the safety, health and well-being strategy, HASAVI focuses its lines of action on the comprehensive care of employees and their direct family members, making available to them training, medical equipment, psychological support, and a multitude of resources that improve their quality of life and health, inside and outside the work environment.
