Pioneer Unit of Family Medicine of the IMSS in Cancun celebrates its 29th anniversary of existence – Palco Noticias

The Family Medicine Unit (UMF) of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) No. 13, known as “La de la Cuchilla”, celebrated its 29th anniversary this week; It was the first of its kind to provide first-class care services in Cancun.

An IMSS statement added that said center began its operation on February 18, 1993, and currently has a registered population of 135,658 beneficiaries; provides family medicine services, continuous medical care, integrated preventive care and a Respiratory Care Module (Marss),

213 workers work there, including family doctors, family specialist nurses, social work personnel, nutritionists, stomatologists, medical assistants and administrative personnel, in the morning and evening hours from Monday to Sunday, since this unit has extended service on Saturdays and Sundays.
